Courtney Souter, PT, DPT, CSCS

Courtney is a Northern Virginia native. Her passion for physical therapy was sparked at an early age while rehabbing several injuries from playing lacrosse and field hockey in high school. Courtney graduated from Virginia Tech in 2014 with her B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise with a focus in Exercise Health Promotion and went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. During her graduate studies, Courtney was awarded the K. Madison Smith Award for Clinical Excellence as voted on by her clinical internship instructors.

Courtney became deeply passionate about health and wellness through her undergrad education and her time spent teaching group exercise classes at the gym. She is a Les Mills Certified BodyPump and BodyAttack instructor as well as she holds her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification. Courtney is committed to providing excellent quality of care to each patient and she believes the best approach is through a combination of manual therapy, functional exercise, and team work. She believes that every patient should graduate physical therapy with an understanding of how to live an active, healthy and pain-free lifestyle. In her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling, hiking, exercising and watching hockey and football.
