Lisa is a native of Massachusetts who came to Virginia in 2004 for college. She graduated from Marymount University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science and in 2011 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. While attending Marymount, she volunteered her physical therapy services to those in need in rural parts of Costa Rice and assisted with the opening of a hospital for local orphans. Additionally, she conducted research into the role physical therapist’s play in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Lisa returned to Marymount after working in the field to serve as an adjunct professor, leading PT students in case study work. She has extensive experience working with people of all ages and with musculoskeletal and neurological problems within an orthopedic outpatient setting. In her free time, Lisa enjoys running and working out at Orangetheory, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
